Spurious system requirements – your gaming PC will hum

Wandering system requirements won’t stop you from exploring futuristic alleys as an adorable cat, but you might want to double-check your rig before diving in. Luckily, while the game’s neon-lit cityscapes are remarkable, you won’t need an Nvidia RTX graphics card to get your hands dirty in this cyberpunk adventure.
According to BlueTwelve Studio System requirements, you can run the game on an Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 Ti, a GPU that’s almost ten years old. Naturally, you’ll need something a bit newer to play with higher settings enabled, but the developer recommends a GTX 780, so you still won’t need to splurge on the best graphics card.
In terms of RAM, you’ll need a gaming PC with at least 8GB to run like a cat. While the game’s memory requirements aren’t unreasonable, you may need to revamp your rig if it’s a slightly older version. You’ll also only need 10GB of space to install Stray, which means you won’t necessarily need the best SSD for gaming.
Stray is now available for purchase at Steam, and the game is even verified by Steam Deck. That means it’ll work well with Valve’s portable powerhouse, which you might expect given its PC controller support and forgiving specs.
