Looks like an Evangelion Asus ROG gaming PC is coming

Building an anime-themed gaming PC seems to be getting easier every day, with more and more manufacturers offering systems and components inspired by beloved Japanese animation. Now, it looks like Asus ROG is planning to release its own Neon Genesis Evangelion-themed system, and its specs could be as monstrous as the EVA-01.

Teasing the next gaming PC on its social media, Asus ROG describes its homage to the EVA-01 as “the ultimate machine”, but has yet to provide any official specs. However, the company was kind enough to give us a preview of its Evangelion PC case, provided you can squint and look past the obscure text. We’ll have to wait until May 14 to get a better look at the purple-green rig, though.

We can, however, make educated guesses about what we will ultimately see, as Asus ROG is already selling limited-edition variants of its best gaming graphics cards and motherboards with Evangelion designs. This new system will likely ship with one of Intel’s best gaming processors considering the Z690 chipset, and we should expect an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 to accompany it.

If Asus ROG’s EVA-01 components don’t appeal to you, you might find MSI’s Evangelion gaming PC collection more up your street. For those who prefer to play on an All Might-themed rig, NZXT recently released a My Hero Academia PC case, but you’ll have to be quick if you want one as it’s a limited edition.
