How to Play Netflix Mobile Games

You can play a surprising number of great mobile games using a Netflix subscription; In the breach, poinpyand before your eyes among them. It’s just not something the majority of Netflix users do, according to new data from analytics firm Apptopia and published in CNBC. Netflix has 221 million subscribers, which means that despite being played by just 1% of the user base, games still receive an average of 1.7 million daily users, CNBC said, and have been downloaded 23.3 million times. Here’s a quick guide to getting the full value of your Netflix subscription, including those video games.

If you are someone who only watches Netflix on your TV, you might not even know that Netflix has Games. Even on the phone app, it’s not exactly in a prominent place, which is a shame, because games like before your eyes, poinpyand many more are worth trying.

On Apple iOS devices and Android phones, you must first download the Netflix app.

  1. Open the Netflix app and scroll down to the Netflix Games section.
  2. Scroll through the games and find the one you would like to play.
  3. Click on the game’s thumbnail and its Netflix Games page will open.
  4. Click on the “Get Game” button and your respective app store will open – either the Apple App Store or Google Play.
  5. You will use this app store as usual to download the said game, so click on the download button.

You’ll find it once again in the Netflix Games section of the app. Games will also be added to your home screen (unless you have disabled this feature on your device).

On iOS and Android, you box open the respective app stores and directly search for Netflix games there as well. If you’re not already signed in to Netflix, you’ll be prompted to sign in before playing.

Even more games are on the way for Netflix, which has 26 titles listed under its subscription service so far. The stated goal is 50 games by the end of 2022, including original games and those based on its properties, like the upcoming The Queen’s Bet chess simulator. This year, Netflix acquired three independent studios to bolster its roster of titles: Boss Fight Entertainment, Without beef developer Night School Studio and Next Games.
