Best Android mobile games, stunning design of Galaxy S22 Ultra, Honor Magic V revealed

This week’s Android Tour looks back at seven days of Android news and headlines, including the latest Samsung Galaxy S21 FE details, a new look for the Galaxy S22 Ultra, the debut of Honor’s foldable handset, a review Oppo’s foldable Find N, tips for Pixel Watch, Xiaomi’s little flagship and the best mobile games of the year. Android Circuit is back to remind you of some of the many things that have happened in the world of Android over the past week (and you can find the weekly Apple News Digest here). The Galaxy S21 Fan Edition: everything you need to know

One question that still needs to be answered, assuming a January launch, is where the S21 FE will fit in the wallet once the Galaxy S22 handsets launch a few weeks later in mid-February? Samsung’s Galaxy S22 family has seen plenty of specification leaks over the past few weeks, and as its launch draws closer, some of the more cosmetic (and arguably more exciting for regular consumers) are emerging. Besides the usual black, white and silver colors, the rose gold and free colors were leaked this week:

Ahead of a launch slated for the next few weeks, more details about the Samsung Galaxy S21 Fan Edition have been revealed, including the full user manual. This confirms details already known about the FE variant of the Galaxy S21. “The Galaxy S21 FE would be a cheaper and cheaper alternative to the S21, just like the Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition is to the Samsung Galaxy S20. However, the reduction in costs and specifications is probably minimal, with the S21 Fan Edition still being quite high-end – and it’s priced accordingly. “

“At the moment, it is not clear whether this new version of the Samsung S22 Ultra Turkish Rose will be offered as a standard model. This variant can be marketed in a number of countries. It is not excluded that in addition to this color, which brings the total number of colors to 5, another color variant is emerging.

“We don’t know when the Honor Magic V can be launched or how much it will cost. Honor’s announcement follows a similar announcement from Chinese Oppo earlier this month, which shared some details about its first foldable phone, the Oppo Find N. It appears that after several years of Samsung’s dominance over the foldable phone market, Chinese manufacturers are finally bringing real competition. “

“Back in the days of the S21 series, Samsung decided to offer a number of colors exclusively through the website for the Plus and Ultra models. It’s unclear at this time whether Samsung decides to do the same with the S22 series, but certainly not inconceivable. Honor has announced that he is working on a foldable flagship smartphone. There’s not much to do at this point, beyond a year of the Fold in the Dark – which suggests it won’t be a long, thin setup like the Galaxy Z Fold – and the Honor’s previous statement that it will ship with the next generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

Also on the foldable front, last week’s launch of Oppo’s Find N. Offering an almost square screen when unfolded, it offers another fit on the form factor pushed by early fodlables from Samsung and Huawei. The GSM Arena team did a first review of the hardware: “Not having a crease on the foldable screen was also nice, while the transition of the content between the two screens with matching colors and brightness literally blew us away. . And believe us, that rarely happens these days. The Find N isn’t an ideal device – there’s no official ingress protection, grip is almost non-existent, we’re no fan of perforations, and most importantly – extremely limited availability.
